I have studied mechanical engineering at the university in Essen/Germany. After graduating I accepted a position first as project manager and later as branch manager at an engineering company in the water industry. During these five years I gained thorough knowledge of the operational procedures in the project business as well as the demands of the middle management. Furthermore I was able to gather my first experience in the field of rotating drives and their start characteristics. To further my career I accepted the position as Manager of Sales and Production at a manufacturer of electro-technical motor starters. My main focal point was the preparation and follow-up of offers, the technical calculation of motor starter and starting transformer, start performance of various drives and electrical network analysis in the medium voltage sector.
Needless to say that negotiations and contract conclusions with customers and suppliers were part of my daily business. The satisfaction and loyalty of my clients were the most rewarding but also the most challenging aspect and greatly contributed to the enthusiasm for my job. I sincerely hope that I will be able to satisfy the customers of Start›Ing with the same vigor and enjoyment.
